Hometown Heroes Banner Program
The Elko New Market Fire Department Relief Association is proud to present the Hometown Heroes Banner Program. This project, sponsored by the Fire Relief Association and in collaboration with the City of Elko New Market, aims to celebrate the lives and sacrifices of local heroes who have served both the town and the nation.
The 18“ x 36“ colored banners feature the names and faces of those being honored. These are displayed on light poles lining Elko New Market, on Main Street from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Hometown Heroes banner program serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving their country.
