Police Officer - Full Time

FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER

2025 Salary range is $37.96 to $40.90 per hour DOQ.

The City of Elko New Market is growing and accepting applications for an additional Full-time Police Officer. Officers are fully supported by the community, City Council, and the department itself. Officers have many opportunities for community engagement.

Starting salary range is $37.96hr- $40.90hr. Starting wages may be higher DOQ and prior qualified experience. Top patrol salary is $47.48hr. with potential for additional longevity increases.

The Police Department offers opportunities for specialty assignments like Detective, FTO, Firearms Instructors, U of F Instructors, Mobile Field Force, Armorer, Peer Support/Wellness Officer, and Taser Instructor.

Minimum qualifications include an Associates/Technical Degree with coursework in Law Enforcement, CPR/EMS Certification, MN POST Board Certification of Eligibility or MN Peace Officers License.
