Annual Spring Clean-Up

LIST OF ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

• Furniture (includes mattresses and box springs)
• Household items including house wares, toys, clothing, bedding
  
• Scrap Metal includes BBQ grills, bikes, exercise equipment, lawn mowers, snow blowers and riders
  
• Household Appliances: Air Conditioners, Stoves, Refrigerators, Microwave Ovens, other Household Appliances
  
• Tires without rims (NO tractor tires are allowed)
  
• Consumer Electronics: computers, computer monitors, peripherals (keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.), printers, cell phones, DVD/VCR players, fax machines, TV’s

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:

• Tractor Tires
• Propane Tanks
• Hazardous Waste (used motor oil, paints, etc.)
• Construction Debris
• Batteries
• Yard Waste

FEES:

• $25/consumer electronic device
• $35/carload
• $45/pickup or trailer (8’ or less)
• $5/tire

FREE YARD CLEANUP:

In conjunction with Spring Clean-Up, all garbage haulers in Elko New Market are required to provide their City customers with a FREE pick-up of yard waste items each year. Your garbage hauler will provide you with the date and time of pickup for the following items:

• Leaves
• Grass clippings
• Branches in 3 ft. lengths bundled
  
  

Use compostable brown paper bags for leaves and grass clippings. PLEASE - NO PLASTIC BAGS.
Bags must be at curbside by 7:00 a.m. the day of pickup.
