Introduction

The purpose of this My Private Well web page is to serve as a communication tool for property owners who have private wells located within proximity to active City of Elko New Market wells.

• If you have an 'out-of-water' (well interference) concern and are located within one (1) mile of Elko New Market municipal wells (see link to map below), you should contact the City of Elko New Market at myprivatewell@ci.enm.mn.us.
• If you have an 'out-of-water' (well interference) concern and are located more than one (1) mile of Elko New Market municipal wells (see link to map below), you should contact the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources at well.interference.dnr@state.mn.us.

• What is a water quality concern?  A water quality concern is a notable change in appearance, taste, or odor of water as compared to usual conditions.
• If you have a water quality concern which you believe to be caused by the City's pumping from municipal wells, and your well is located within two and one half (2.5) miles of Elko New Market municipal wells (see link to map below), you should contact the City of Elko New Market at myprivatewell@ci.enm.mn.us.
