New Prague Household Organics Site

Residents of the City of Elko New Market may participate in a new Household Organics Site. Scott County recently awarded a grant to the City of New Prague to create a household organics site, which is free and open to all Scott and Le Sueur County residents. The purpose of this facility is to allow residents to dispose of their food waste.

The site officially opened on October 28, 2023. Residents must register online and come to New Prague City Hall located at 118 Central Avenue North to pick up their key. To verify residency of Scott or Le Sueur County, residents must provide a valid ID or a utility bill.
